"My Year with Dr. Eli Goldratt"

About the Webinar"My Year with Dr. Eli Goldratt" is a book describing Dr. Lisa Anne Ferguson's experiences working with Eli as his apprentice from 2007-8. Eliyahu M. Goldratt (1947 – 2011) was an educator, guru to industry, best-selling author and founder of TOC. His goal in life was to teach the world to think. This webinar provides attendees with an opportunity to hear part of the book prior to its release. Time will be devoted to sharing greatest lessons learned from him and humorous and dramatic stories about their time together.

About the Presenter:  Lisa Anne Ferguson, PhD, is the founder and CEO of Illuminutopia, an organization that is focused on "Illuminating the way to utopia for individuals, organizations and society (www.illuminutopia.com). After earning a PhD and an MBA, Professor Ferguson taught operations management full-time at a university business school for ten years and has been teaching TOC for over 15 years. Dr. Ferguson is the author of the chapter on Strategy and Tactic tree (STTs) in the TOC handbook published by McGraw-Hill. Dr. Ferguson is planning to publish in 2013 her book on teaching how to write and utilize Transformational STTs to enable an organization to successfully achieve its goal. Until June 2008, Dr. Ferguson spent a year working one-on-one with Dr. Eli Goldratt, the founder of TOC, as his apprentice in order to learn from him how to write and further develop her expertise in TOC. Her book titled "My Year with Dr. Eli Goldratt” will be published within the next several months. Dr. Ferguson has been involved with the TOC International Certification Organization (TOCICO) since its inception in 2001 and was a board member from 2008 to 2011. Professor Ferguson is TOCICO certified in Supply Chain Logistics, Project Management and the Thinking Processes.
