Dr. Kelvyn Youngman presents Two Types of Clouds - Session ONE: Dialectic Arguments and Local/Local Clouds

About the Webinar:   In this first session I will introduction the two types of clouds; dialectic and didactic, and how to distinguish between them.  I will then build a simple synthetic dialectic (local/local) cloud and matrix using MRP and ABC as an example.  With this understanding I then want to map out the relationship between this type of cloud and matrix and the methodology from the book Difficult Conversations.  We are almost always involved in difficult conversations especially at the start of an implementation when others have their valid, contrary, and enthusiastic local solutions. Difficult Conversations leads us to understand where the real problems, the UDE's, hide in local/local clouds.  This is not obvious.  This in-turn leads us to the simplifying assumptions of satisfaction and security within the matrix.

About the Presenter:  Dr. Youngman has been actively involved in Theory of Constraints for some time, both in New Zealand and also Japan, principally with drum-buffer-rope manufacturing solutions.  He has also applied the same to one of New Zealand's largest tertiary hospitals.   He is the author of the on-line resource "A Guide To Implementing The Theory of Constraints" which has been used around the world since 2003.
