Dr. Lisa Ferguson presents Leveraging the Power of TOC: Full-Day Webinar

About the Webinar:  Why has the Theory of Constraints (TOC) management philosophy resulted in dramatic improvements in a wide variety of organizations?
It is because the power of TOC is its ability to provide FOCUS in the following ways:
• First, by doing what should be done (reliability).
• Second, by not doing what should not be done (effectiveness).

TOC has effectively become the main way of managing many organizations by applying:
• The Five Focusing Steps (5FS) process to leverage the constraint, the factor which is MOST limiting the organization from achieving more of its goal, such as making more money now and in the future.
• The Thinking Processes (TP) to identify and effectively address the root cause of all the symptoms / undesirable effects (UDEs) in the organization (the core conflict causing all the UDEs).

With TOC (Theory of Constraints), you can lower your workload, while dramatically and permanently improving your performance. Our focus is to provide each attendee with a number of easy-to-implement changes regarding the key concepts of TOC (in its various applications) that you can make on your own to dramatically improve performance, in addition to guidance on how to learn more about TOC in order to ensure your organization is ever-flourishing.

About the Presenter:  Dr. Ferguson is the author of the chapter on TSTTs in the TOC Handbook (with a focus on describing some of the key content of the strategic implementation plan for retailers). Professor Ferguson was the apprentice to Eliyahu M. Goldratt, the founder of TOC, from 2007 to 2008. She was a full-time professor of operations management in a university business school for a decade.
