The workshops aims at executives of manufacturing and service organizations that offer a variety of different products, sold at different prices, to various market segments. The workshop also aims at consultants to such organizations.
The current way the key decisions are made is based on either cost-accounting, coming up with a fabricated cost-per-unit that drives all those decisions, or on the intuition of the executive.
Both ways lead to distorted decisions that significantly harm the profitability.
The workshop offers a vastly superior methodology. It is based on the concept of Throughput Accounting, developed by the late Dr. Eli Goldratt, the creator of the Theory of Constraints (TOC) and the author of The Goal, one of the most famous management books ever.
The new developed methodology calls for mutual decision-making process combining Marketing, Sales, Operations and Finance to achieve the most effective product-mix and capacity the organization can offer in the short and also in the medium and long time frames.
