"Tell me how you measure me, and I will tell you how I will behave." This quote from Eliyahu M. Goldratt, the founder of the Theory of Constraints (TOC) and author of the best-selling business novel "The Goal," points to the importance of utilizing effective operational and financial performance measures. His novel explains how to achieve the business goal by explaining the Five Focusing Steps for dealing with the system's constraint (the factor most limiting attainment of the goal).

After development of the TOC solution for improving (logistical) flow in manufacturing and service organizations came the applications for Finance and Measures (F&M), including Throughput Accounting (TA). A more recent advancement of the TOC knowledge resulted in the Strategy and Tactic (S&T) tree, a powerful tool detailing all the strategies, tactics and corresponding logic for how to become an ever-flourishing organization.

In this three-hour webinar, Dr. Lisa Anne Ferguson presents the basic concepts of the TOC F&M and TA, while explaining the connection to the key elements of the S&T tree.
