A special six-hour long webinar for TOC consultants (and practitioners) with a good knowledge of Throughput Accounting (TA) By Eli Schragenheim (the presenter).

I believe that TOC consultants need an offer that is directed at top management. I think this is it. (Note: TOC practitioners can also benefit from attending this webinar, even though the content is geared to consultants.)

CONTENT Management needs to make ongoing decisions in two critical areas:
1. Product-mix decisions, which includes promotions, campaigns, launch of new products, entering new market-segments and mainly pushing their Sales and Marketing team(s) to come up with new ideas for how to expand the market and enhance the value provided to clients. Pricing is also an important issue. It impacts not just the specific product, but also (frequently) the sales of other products as well.

2. Maintaining the right amount of capacity, in terms of employees, machines, etc., regardless of whether the organization is manufacturing or service-based. Throughput Accounting (TA), together with the Five Focusing Steps, was supposed to replace the clearly flawed traditional cost accounting methods, most notably the concept of ‘cost-per-unit’ (and other absorption costing rules) in order to dramatically improve operational performance. However, TA does not address the whole spectrum of practical issues; thus, it fails to offer a new "book” on how to effectively make those decisions.
