In 2009 Dr. Eli Goldratt claimed there were just four concepts of flow that underpin not only the Theory of Constraints (TOC) Drum-Buffer-Rope (DBR) but also Ohno's Toyota's Production System (TPS) and Ford's flow line development. These concepts are widely cited and the article is now included as an appendix to The Goal book (2004 edition). However, some questions naturally arise.

The Four Concepts of Flow
presented by Dr. Roy Stratton
Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University
Wednesday, December 4th 2019
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST
After outlining this paper, this Webinar will attempt to address the following questions:
- How do these concept relate to established models, including the TPS house and the TOC focusing steps?
- How do these concepts apply to even more unstable environments, such as project management and patient flow management?
This Webinar will be presented in GoToWebinar
