TOC Company of the Year Award - TATA Steel Ltd.
In recognition for maintaining exceptional, demonstrated results utilizing TOC, in addition to significant contributions to the TOC community

Mr. Ranjan Singh demonstrated how Tata Steel used the TOC Thinking Processes to take their Coke Oven productivity to a new level. This breakthrough in oven temperature monitoring and control allowed Tata Steel to boost their Tons per person per day, while at the same time reducing their safety risk by two levels. This now patented technology holds great promise for deployment to other Tata Steel facilities and even other industries.

In recognition for maintaining exceptional, demonstrated results utilizing TOC, in addition to significant contributions to the TOC community.

Mr. SR Mukherjee joined Tata Advanced materials in 2014 after two years of heavy losses. Together with Ravi and Ira of Goldratt India they achieved one of the best financial turnarounds ever released to the public. By aligning the entire senior team behind clear weekly metrics their journey started showing results after 8 weeks and continues today – more than four years later. The team’s new mindset of Better than Before hold great promises for stellar results for many years ahead.

 

The Process of Ongoing Improvement “POOGI” Award - Bajaj Electrical Ltd. (Consumer Products)
In recognition for maintaining demonstrated results utilizing TOC over a period of more than three years, in addition to significant contributions to the TOC community.

For the 2nd time in three years, a team from the Bajaj group, the Bajaj Electrical Consumer Products team, has won the TOC POOGI award. With the help of Vector Consulting, the team managed to turn many different distributor and supply chain challenges around to put their customers on a new journey of harmony, cooperation and ongoing improvement for many years to come.

 In recognition for maintaining demonstrated results utilizing TOC over a period of more than three years, in addition to significant contributions to the TOC community.

With an impressive 30 year TOC journey behind them, the World leader in E-jets, Embraer, needed to learn from project portfolio management challenges during their E1 E-Jet development, in order to roll out their 2nd generation E2 E-Jets to high market expectations. With the help of CCPM, high goals and focused teamwork, Embraer exceeded their targets to the recognition of the market and their customers and to demonstrate why they can expect to continue their POOGI journey for years to come.
