Critical Chain Project Management Fundamentals Exam

The Critical Chain Project Management Fundamentals exam provides a formal, standardized, and globally recognized certification to those who demonstrate a fundamental and holistic understanding of the TOC core beliefs, concepts and principles for Critical Chain Project Management. This certification also serves as a pre-requisite to attaining the advanced knowledge required to achieve further certification as a Certified Practitioner or Certified Implementer in Critical Chain Project Management. Successful completion of the exam results in becoming TOC Fundamentals Certified (TOCFC™) and will include a Critical Chain Project Management Fundamentals digital certificate.

Why take the CCPM Fundamentals exam?

If you are in an environment which is planning on, in the process of, or already started with implementing CCPM, having this foundation of knowledge and common language can make for a more positive and engaging experience for you. Achieving certification is a rewarding accomplishment on both a personal and professional level. Typical exam candidates include those who are:

• interested in TOC Critical Chain Project Management.
• interested in more advanced certifications in Critical Chain Project Management, as this is currently one of two possible requirements to sit for advanced certification.

Exam Structure

The CCPM Fundamentals exam consists of the following three topic areas:

1. Single Project: Planning and Scheduling, Executing and Managing, and Improving
2. Multi-Project: Portfolio Planning and Scheduling, Executing and Managing
3. General TOC Concepts

This exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions and must be completed within 2 hours.  Currently the CCPM Fundamentals exam is available in English only.
