Audience & Presentation Expectations

Speaker Onboarding

We invite all speakers to attend a short onboarding session (15–20 minutes) to review expectations and logistics.

 

Available sessions:

  • April 27 – 4:00 PM EDT (NY GMT -4)

  • April 28 – 9:00 AM EDT (NY GMT -4)

  • April 29 – 12:00 PM EDT (NY GMT -4)

Audience & Presentation Expectations

Our audience includes TOC practitioners, consultants, academics, and newcomers. Please design your session accordingly:

  • Focus on a clear, compelling topic

  • Share a real-world challenge and solution

  • Include measurable results and timeline

  • Emphasize practical takeaways

  • Keep within the session format:

    • 30 minutes presentation

    • 20 minutes live Q&A

Session & Presentation Requirements

Session Format

Total session length: 50 minutes

  • Up to 30 minutes presentation

  • 10–20 minutes Q&A

 

Program Alignment

All sessions must align with at least one of the conference themes:

  • Why change matters

  • What needs to change

  • How change is carried out and sustained

 

Delivery & Language

  • All sessions are delivered live, in person in Manchester, UK

  • All presentations must be in English

 

Presentation Guidelines

Slide Requirements

  • Use the TOCICO Presenter Template

  • Download Here

  • Submit slides in PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) format

  • Slides will be made available to attendees via the conference app (PDF format)

Content Standards

  • Focus on practical, applicable knowledge

  • Ensure content delivers clear value to attendees

  • Avoid marketing or promotional content

 

No Pitching Policy

TOCICO maintains a strict no-pitching policy to preserve the educational value of the event.

 

Not permitted:

  • Promotion of services, products, or consulting

  • Company logos or product advertising within slides

Exceptions include:

  • Designated sponsors

  • Authors presenting relevant publications (subject to review)

  • Practitioner-led case studies

  • A final slide with contact information or resources is permitted.

Presentation Timeline & Process

To ensure a high-quality program and allow time for review and production, please adhere to the following deadlines:

  • Draft presentation due: July 1, 2026

  • Final presentation due: August 1, 2026

  • Final upload deadline: August 15, 2026 (no exceptions)

Review & Feedback Process

  • All presentations will undergo a peer review by the conference committee

  • Speakers are expected to incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed

 

Timely submission is critical to allow for:

  • Review and quality assurance

  • Speaker revisions

  • Coordination with the on-site audiovisual team

 

Failure to meet deadlines may impact your ability to present.

Speaker Agreement

Speaker Agreement

  • Speakers retain ownership of their content

  • TOCICO retains rights to session recordings

  • Acceptance of the Speaker Agreement is required

Live Q&A 

​Preparation

A TOCICO volunteer facilitator will be assigned to you for the Live Q&A.

Provide 3 questions for live Q&A to help guide discussion.

Registration

Speaker Registration

  • Required to confirm participation

  • All speakers must attend in person

 

Speaker rate: $749 USD

Accommodation is not included.
