TOC Innovative Summit 2025 | On Demand

Call for Speakers
TOC Innovation Summit 2026
Manchester, UK | September 2–4
The TOC Innovation Summit brings together people learning, applying, and advancing the Theory of Constraints.
This year’s program is designed to focus on the application and practice of the Theory of Constraints. Submissions should meaningfully contribute to the conversation around why change matters, what needs to change, or how change is carried out and sustained using TOC. The intent of the program is to advance understanding and practice of TOC across industries and levels of maturity.
We welcome proposals from TOC practitioners, TOC thought leaders, educators, and experienced contributors who are actively applying or teaching TOC in real organizational environments. Both new and seasoned voices are encouraged.
Session Types
All session submissions must clearly align to one or more of the program lenses:
Why change matters | What needs to change | How change is carried out and sustained
Practitioner Case Studies / Success Stories
Case study submissions should clearly show why change was needed, what was changed, and how TOC was applied.
Submissions should describe:
-
The problem or challenge faced
-
The TOC-based solution applied
-
How the solution was implemented or delivered
-
The results achieved
Practitioner-led presentations are strongly encouraged. Consultants are welcome to co-present alongside their clients.
Tools, Methods, or Thinking Process Sessions
These sessions focus on a specific TOC concept, method, or logic-based approach.
Submissions should:
-
Explain why the tool or method is needed (the problem or opportunity it addresses)
-
Walk through what the method or logic is
-
Show how it has been applied in practice
Hands-On Workshops / Application Labs
Interactive sessions that guide participants through the use or implementation of a TOC tool, logic stream, or decision framework.
These sessions should emphasize application and participation rather than presentation.
A limited number of workshops will be selected.
New Developments in TOC
Sessions exploring the advancement of TOC thinking, including:
-
New or extended TOC applications
-
Advanced tools or approaches
-
Contributions aligned with the Standing on the Shoulders of Giants (SOTSOG) framework
-
Integrations such as TOC + AI, where relevant and grounded in application
Sponsored Product or Platform Spotlights
Sponsored sessions must deliver clear educational value and align to the program themes. Product or platform content should focus on insight and application, not promotion.
Academic Paper
Academic paper submissions are managed through a separate process.
TOCx
We’re introducing something new at this year’s TOCICO Summit.
It’s called TOCx.
TOCx is a short-talk format focused on ideas — not case studies, not frameworks, and not slide-heavy presentations. Each TOCx talk centers on one clear idea, insight, or perspective, and why it matters.
Across the Summit, we’ll feature nine TOCx talks, delivered as three short talks directly after lunch each day.
TOCx is intentionally designed for that moment.
These talks are meant to be concise, focused, and direct, making space for ideas that benefit from clarity rather than length.
TOC x talks may include:
-
Ideas that challenge how we practice TOC
-
Lessons learned through experience
-
Perspectives that don’t always fit a traditional session format
-
This isn’t about being the most experienced person in the room.
-
It is about being thoughtful, honest, and clear.
If you have an idea that keeps showing up in your conversations — one that feels strongest when it’s short and to the point — TOCx may be the right format.
TOCx talks are limited and will be curated separately from the main conference program.
