Theory of Constraints (TOC) Journal
A Publication for Research, Innovation, and Practical Application
The Theory of Constraints (TOC) Journal is a new publishing initiative dedicated to sharing knowledge, research, and practical applications of the Theory of Constraints (TOC). It is designed to provide a forum where researchers, practitioners, educators, and innovators can publish original work, exchange ideas, and contribute to the ongoing evolution and application of TOC across industries, disciplines, and society.
As an important first step, TOCICO is pleased to introduce the TOC Journal Special Collection—a curated publication featuring 18 papers. This inaugural collection highlights significant contributions from the TOC community and demonstrates the breadth and impact of TOC thinking in practice.
The TOC Journal Special Collection serves as the foundation for our long-term vision of establishing a dedicated Theory of Constraints journal that brings together high-quality research, practical insights, case studies, and innovative applications from around the world.
At this time, there are now 18 TOC BOK papers which TOCICO has formally recognized as new TOC knowledge:

The Theory of Constraints Body of Knowledge (TOC BOK) serves as the authoritative reference for the concepts, principles, and practices that define the Theory of Constraints. While the TOC Journal provides a platform for sharing research, innovation, case studies, and emerging ideas, the TOC BOK documents and organizes the established knowledge that forms the foundation of the TOC discipline.
Together, the TOC Journal and the TOC BOK help inspire the next generation of TOC thinking—encouraging new ideas, fostering meaningful discussion, and preserving the knowledge that continues to advance the global TOC community.
